Who We Are
Founded in 2004 and directed by Curtis MacKirdy, CMK Architects is a small architectural practice delivering big design projects. After graduating in 1992, Curtis has had extensive architectural experience, with over 30 years in the industry, first gaining exposure as the principal designer with BPSM Architects, then Chester Bullock and Associates before establishing CMK Architects.
Our Approach
CMK Architects focus on a practical approach to design, offering functional solutions while delivering value for money. Our first goal is to make sure we ascertain the exact needs of the client, and respond to site conditions, climate and context.

We utilise the benefits of CAD software both as a two-dimensional drafting tool and as a three-dimensional design tool. This enables the project team to better communicate their thoughts and ideas with clients through real-time models.
