Project: New residence

Location: Launceston, Tasmania

This family home situated on a large sloping block was positioned to take full advantage of the spectacular city views, Tamar valley and the mountains.  This design uses the sloping site to its advantage, with a large double garage located under the principal house level, providing direct access up into the house.  An open plan layout incorporating the kitchen, dining and living area are encapsulated with full height glazing and direct access out to a large patio area and in ground swimming pool.  With a glass balustrade around the pool, summer days can be spent laying in the pool, soaking in the views.

The master bedroom and ensuite are separated from house and main living area via a discrete corridor, with a raised floor level this creates a private parents retreat, complete with direct access to a private patio.  Three large bedrooms, all with walk in robes and balconies and a dedicated home theatre complete this magnificent home.
